At the time when the 1600SW was released, SGI offered a number of card/display combinations for those not running the display on either an SGI320/540 or an O2. By today’s standards the performance of these cards is limited. The SGI 1600SW was the only monitor produced in significant quantities with an OpenLDI connection, though it had minor differences from the final published standards. The 1600SW LCD is still widely considered a fantastic monitor, if you can find the time and resources to actually connect one. SGI no longer manufacturers or sells the monitors, adapters, or cables, but there is a thriving underground market amongst SGI fans and enthusiasts.

Attach the SGI 1600SW monitor cable to the 36-pin LVDS connector. Attach one end of the supplied 12-inch cable to the second, slightly smaller DVI connector on the GFX-1600SW card. Attach the other end of this cable to the DVI output connector of your graphics card.

I recently found it in my office packed away like I left it and was wondering if anyone new how to install the graphics card (and yes I have the correct one, I have three of them actually) with an install kit that I can't find today, Jan 2016.
